I hate it when I find a project I really, really want to do and have absolutely no place for it! Maybe someone would appreciate it as a gift? Anyway, the estimated cost is a little low if you buy the light fixture from the link she gives then buy the wire basket. More like under $20. I think, depending on whether you have to buy flowers.

What a neat DIY pendant lamp project. My only question after I make it, what room to hang it in my house? What a great way to light up a dark corner or add a pop of color in a space that needs it. I consider this a two for one.

I love everything about this project. In the entry way of my apartment, floor space is prime real estate and having a hanging light fixture is just the thing that I need. Knowing me, I will adapt this project by applying the flowers in a way that they can be switched out for each season. Great idea. I already placed my order for the pendant light fixture.
