I saw something similar to this, but using plastic bags instead of fabric. I think I like the fabric better, though, and I suspect it would be easier to cut and work with than plastic. I wonder if one could spray it with something to make it waterproof without ruining the effect?

I made a wreath like this with Fall fabric quarters, and it turned out super cute! I am looking forward to buying summer themed fabric to make this wreath again. I have the perfect place to hang it. Maybe I'll make two--one with a patriotic theme and one with a beach theme.
