I know i say this about all owl projects but this one is sooo adorable and its practical too. Felt is the best fabric to make this warmer for the winter period because it retains as much heat as the rice. Im going to make a couple for me and my mom. Sewing this is so easy, you can do it by hand if you want and you can start using it immediately.

My daughter loves owls and has decorated her apartment with a similar design! These would be perfect for her and could easily be adapted to other shapes or animals for kids or just the young at heart! I could see these for use with chemo patients who become easily chilled, or for other health and comfort applications. A bit of whimsy can help ease pain and provide extra comfort even beyond the heat! Lovely idea!

These are so owl-mazing! (I couldn't help myself) These are perfect for cold mornings when I'm walking the dog. I can just stick them in my pocket and I'll be warm the whole time.
