Pretty Red Bow Ornament

Duncan® Concepts® Underglazes for Bisque - CN 516 Really Red Sprinkles

Duncan® Concepts® Underglazes for Bisque - CN 522 Really White Sprinkles

Signature Brushes - SB 802 No. 1 Liner

Signature Brushes - SB 806 No. 6 Round

Duncan® Pure Brilliance® Clear Glaze

Foil or foam plate for palette

Container for water

Pencil

Paper towel
- Potter's sponge
Instructions:

Wipe ware with damp sponge to remove any bisque dust.

Paint the back of ornament with three coats Really Red Sprinkles. Let dry.

Refer to photo and use pencil to lightly freehand knot and gather lines in bow.

Brush two coats Really White Sprinkles next to sketched lines, fanning out the paint.

Brush three coats Really Red Sprinkles on remainder of bow including edges of bisque. Lightly blend into the Really White Sprinkles. Let dry.

On palette, mix a small amount of Black into the Really Red Sprinkles. Use Liner brush to define center knot and accentuate the gathered areas of bow. Let dry.
- Stilt in kiln and fire to cone 06.
