That's really a neat idea for a CHristmas tree, but I don't have access to baby food jars, either. Really, I don't think I could get away with buying jars of baby food for banana bread, either. I DO have some of those small canning jars that are empty now and I wonder if they would work?

Oh my goodness, how sweet. I love the idea. Talk about easy and inexpensive. It will really be pretty on my mantel. I was wonder, if I use battery operated little lights, why can't I use those thicker clear plastic cups instead of glass. That way I don't have to worry about broken glass, if it gets knocked down.i am going to try it out.
