I use a straw wreath base and two or three different kinds of cones when making this type of wreath. A glue gun comes in very handy with this project. I also affix a cloth covered wire to the wreath before beginning to attach the cones. This is twisted into a hanger. A ribbon can also be used. I like the authors use of a brooch on the ribbon bow. There are really endless ways to decorate a cone wreath. These wreaths will last for years if you spray the cones with a preservative. I've had one for over twenty years!

How adorable is this wreath! I love how you made the pine cones white to add some dimension to the wreath. It almost looks like snow on the craft. Simple, yet elegant, and easy for almost anyone to make with little or no crafting skills. Great add for a fun way to start crafting!
