DIY Toilet Paper Roll Polar Bear
Did you know that February 27th is International Polar Bear Day? This is the perfect craft to do with the kids while you teach them about the amazing polar bear. The DIY Toilet Paper Roll Polar Bear is a great project that will also help you talk to the kids about recycling. This recycled craft project starts with a cardboard tube body that is painted white with acrylic paint. Add paws cut from spare rolls and googly eyes to really bring your polar bear to life. The kids are going to have fun making this fun green craft.

I love these toilet paper animals, they are so adorable and easy to make. I want to make an owl one with some leftover cardstock . You can colour the tubes with whatever colour you want but since this is a kid's craft, let them decide. A cool trick I learnt is to melt crayons and use them instead of paint.

What a little cutie. And after read the directions I want to make a couple with my grand daughter. I know she will insist on putting a pink bow on one somewhere so there will b a mr and Mrs bear. That's fine with me. Not only did I get a great project idea here but I learned something. I didn't know there was an international polar bear day! Thanks for sharing.
