Instructions
- Measure and cut necklace chain to desired length using side cutters.
- Using silver jump rings add a lobster clasp to both ends.
Note: to open and close a jump ring, hold one half of the jump ring (with the slit at the top) using a pair of flat nose pliers, hold the second half of the jump ring with another pair of flat nose pliers or round nose pliers and open the jump ring moving one hand toward you and the opposite hand away from you. NEVER open a jump ring by pulling it apart as this will weaken the support of a jump ring. To close the jump ring, simply reverse the direction of the one hand towards you and the other hand away from you.
- Create several bead charms using the project photo as inspiration or feel free to create your own patterns. To create a bead charm, thread desired beads on a silver head pin. Fold head pin over 90 degrees and snip excess pin leaving approximately ¼”. Using needle nose pliers, create a loop at the top. Continue until desired amount of bead charms is created. Note: be sure to include a couple for each earring.
- Attach bead charms to silver chain necklace using small silver jump rings.
- Cut a few short lengths of chain approximately ½”, 1” and 1.5” using side cutters.
- Attach a couple bead charms to the ½” lengths of chain.
- Group all chain lengths into a silver jump ring and attach to ear wires.
