Instructions:
- Follow instructions on Liquid Dye bottle to dye aprons in washing machine. Dry according to laundering instructions on apron.
- Iron freezer paper to back of aprons to create a stable painting surface.
- Use a chalk pencil to sketch abstract branches onto apron fronts, referring to photo as a guide.
- Mix Glacier White and Ebony Soft Fabric Paints together on palette to create a light gray shade. Paint abstract tree branches on adult apron with gray. Let dry.
- Mix Ebony and Chocolate Soft Fabric Paints to create dark brown. Paint more tree branches over gray ones on adult apron and over apron front. Paint tree on front of child’s apron. Let dry.
- Use the chalk pencil to create leaf designs randomly on different areas of tree branch designs. Paint in the designs with Crimson Red, Sunshine Yellow and Mandarin Orange, leaving some of the leaves unpainted. Let dry completely. Tip: If you aren't comfortable freehand drawing your leaves, print out a leaf design from the computer, cut out and trace on apron with chalk pencil.
- Use a paintbrush to spread Glitter Bond in remaining leaf shapes on aprons. While glue is still wet, sprinkle Red, Orange and Gold Glitters onto each leaf as shown. Let dry completely and shake off excess glitter.
