Materials List
- Dry cleaner hangers
- Fabric mesh
- Ribbon
- Wire cutters
- Pliers
Instructions
-
Shape the dry cleaner hangers into a heart shape
-
Using wire cutters, cut off the hanging end of the dry cleaner hanger
-
Cut strips of fabric mesh and wrap around the hanger to cover it
-
Using pliers, fold the snipped end of the hanger toward the heart shape, and continue to cover with mesh
-
Once covered, now the fun! Begin to dress up your heart with additional mesh in whatever look you like best. In my example, the red heart was created with lots (and lots) of mesh ties; the link pink heart was created by wrapping layers of mesh around it and securing it with little mesh ties; and the fushia heart was created by loosely gathering the mesh and securing the gathers with small mesh ties.
