This table runner is drop dead gorgeous! It's so earthy. What a foundational piece for this whole table setting! I'm not much of a seamstress but for this I think I'll make an exception. I love how it incorporates the cornhusks with the burlap. WOW! You've thought of it all--I may try your hot glue version now that I've seen it down at the bottom )
