I think this is wonderful. I was facinated and hope to make something from the idea, even if it isn't a shamrock. I am definately Irish, so I love this!

i definitely would make it. i think there needs to be something in the middle to hide the connection point. maybe a bouquet of white flowers with shamrocks on springs waving in the wind and when the door opens..lol. very creative!!!! thanks for sharing!!!

Being the only anglo living in a French community I wouldn't be so bold as to hang a shamrock on the door. However, I would change it to a fleur de lys and hang it on my door for our national holiday!
