Old matchboxes or matchbox blanks

Assorted patterned paper

Clear multi-purpose glue or tape

Glue dots

Assorted collage materials: metal charms, ribbon flowers, rhinestones, or stickers.

Instructions:
1. Measure your matchboxes. Sizes may vary, the measurements used in this example are 2 " X 1 1/2" X 1/2".
2. Measure out one patterned piece to use as your template. For matchboxes that measure 2 " X 1 1/2" X 1/2", your paper should measure 4 1/2" X 2". Adjust these measurements according to your matchbox size.
3. Use your template to create as many patterned pieces as you would like gift boxes.
4. Adhere each paper cut-out to a matchbox.
5. Decorate your matchboxes by adhering your embellishments in layers.
6. Insert a cute note or small gift and you're finished!
