One Dollar Mini Photo Album
Looking for thrifty homemade gift ideas for Mom? This One Dollar Mini Photo Album is great because it's inexpensive to make, but also really personal! Learn how you can make a craft photo album from note cards with this super simple tutorial from craft designer Carlene Eshelman.
Materials:
- Set of notecards and envelopes
- Liquid glue
- Scissors
- 24” ribbon
Instructions:
1. Take 5 notecards, stand them up and open to v shape. Face them all so the printed front faces you.
2. Now, turn every other one around, so the printed front is in the back.
3. Intertwine all 5 so they connect.
4. Optional: Use paper clips to hold in place.
5. Using liquid glue, glue connecting cards together.
6. Cut ribbon in half.
7. Glue end of one to middle of first notecard.
8. Glue other ribbon piece to last page of notecards.
9. Cut 6 envelopes the same size as the notecards.
10. Glue flap and any open ends closed.
11. Glue envelope to front and back notecards to cover ribbons.
12. Glue other envelopes to the notecards that are showing the backside.
13. Tie ribbons closed with a bow.
14. Optional: Add matching embellishments if desired.
15. Add photos to your mini album.
