Fourth of July Fireworks Card
Follow this fun, creative video tutorial by Carlene Eshelman for making a Fourth of July Fireworks Card. Patriotic homemade cards are more than just greeting cards; you can use them as free-standing decorations or as invitations to a 4th of July barbecue. All you need to make this card is colored paper and some bright red ribbons!
Materials:
- 5-1/2” x 11” white cardstock
- 5-1/2” blue square cardstock
- liquid adhesive
- Double sided tape
- Flourish bling(optional)
- 7-3/4” red ribbon strips
- Rocket drawing(hand drawn)
- Red and blue paper scraps
Instructions:
- Fold white cardstock in half. This is your card base.
- Lay red ribbon onto front of white cardstock. Use adhesive tape.
- Fold over excess ribbon to back of card.
- Glue 5-1/2” blue cardstock over ribbon ends.
- Cover rocket with red and blue paper scraps.
- Glue across top of card base.
- Arrange “July 4” letters and number onto front of card. Glue down.
- Add flourish bling to card.
