I have seen old quilts at thrift shops now and then but couldn't think of a use for them other than bed covers which I don't need. I like the grosgrain ribbon on the edge the whole thing reminds me of Grandma's house. I actually did make a potholder from an old quilted placemat once, I just never made the connection!
