Springtime Baby Carrots

This is one of those Easter basket ideas that's so creative, you won't believe how simple it is to make. These Springtime Baby Carrots are an adorable Easter basket art project that doesn't take a lot of time but is sure to get tons of compliments. Simply shape cardstock into a cone and wrap it with orange yarn in a tight spiral to create these adorable carrots. A green tassel of yarn tucked inside the cone serves as the carrot top.

These are so cute. I really thought they were carrots. A few of these placed around your Easter center piece will certainly be a conversation starter. And I can also make them in a slightly smaller version for my grand daughter to use when she plays pretnd grocery shopping. Parsnips will also work, just change the color.
