Earth day is my favorite holiday because it awakens our inner hippies. It's the best time to plan some crafts and this tree is a winner. I am all about button currently so this will need a new assortment of greens and browns. I love the idea of adding the birds into the tree, it adds some life into the tree craft.

This is such an adorable project. I have seen other projects with buttons before and I really like this one, especially with the birds nestled in among the buttons. I have loads of extra buttons, in addition you can buy packs of them at a dollar or craft store. I like the background as well. It not only is a simple project but one that will not cost you a lot to make. You will have a nice addition to a room that you won't find anywhere else. Thank you for the pattern.
