DIY Milk Glass Vase
With just a swirl of paint, recycle a plain container into a DIY Milk Glass Vase. Learning how to paint glass is simpler than it seems when you follow this easy tutorial. Transform clear glass and give it a pretty porcelain look. Milk glass has a clean, homey look due to the eggshell white. Try this technique with any sized container to create candle holders or cute jars for little odds and ends. It's surprising that acrylic paint on glass could create such a beautiful effect, but this crafter made it work. If you like the results, you could try it again with other colors.

That's a great little vase! I don't have any vases hiding around here, but I do have a lot of glass jars of all shapes. Surely one (or more) of them could be used like this, especially with a rope or ribbon tied around the top as she did. I would make a great craft for fall, to display autumn bouquets or interesting twigs and such.
