What a great idea! I already have an assortment of those glass candle stick holders, so all I need is to buy a cheap plate for a dollar bill. A "cake" plate like this could even hold an assortment of raw vegetables or olives, cheeses or whatever, at a holiday get together.

This is such a cute and quick idea! I always love displaying cookies and brownies on cake stands instead of plates. I think it gives your table a little something extra!
