Holly Berry Seashore Christmas Crochet Baby Blanket
From the Designer: "Crochet a baby blanket for a little one with a due date around Christmas! This Christmas crochet baby blanket pattern is full of fun, textured stitches, and YES: you can easily memorize this pattern! This Christmas crochet baby blanket pattern is a four-row repeat, but don’t let that intimidate you if you’re used to simpler designs. Two of the four rows in the repeat are comprised entirely of half double crochets in the back loop only across. I called this baby blanket Holly Berry Seashore because the two remaining rows feature puff stitches that remind me of holly berries, and shell stitches which remind me of sea shells! The blanket is finished off with a camel stitch border for a cozy feel. The shell stitches are made from hdcs, and the puffs are, in a way, super hdcs. Camel stitch is hdc in the third loop… Thus, the entire blanket features variations on the half double crochet. I repeat, you can memorize this!! Easily! I hope you enjoy this pattern!"
