Embellished Holiday Sweater Craft
Make floral Christmas sweater designs with this easy fashion craft. Purchase a cardigan in a holiday color, or use a plain sweater you already have in your closet. Fuse silk flowers to the front of the sweater in a pretty arrangement, and then outline the flowers in glitter glue for a bit of holiday sparkle. This is an easy way to make a Christmas sweater to wear for all your holiday parties!

Materials:
- Sweater or sweatshirt
- Silk florals
- Paper backed fusible webbing [such as Heat N' Bond]
- Dimensional paint
- Optional: beads and other trim
Instructions:

Remove flowers from stems and take completely apart. Separate layers.

Put flower layers face down onto nonstick pressing sheet or wax paper.

Press fusible webbing, webbing side down, onto back of silk flower layers.

Fuse with iron according to directions.

Remove silk layers and remove all webbing from edges of each layer.

Arrange flowers in desired design on sweater or sweatshirt.

Cover flowers with nonstick pressing sheet and fuse.

Run line of paint around all edges of silk layers (this not only adds a nice touch, but also seals the edges).
- Add beads and other trim if desired
The sweater/sweatshirt is hand washable. Turn inside out and lay flat to dry to protect your artwork.
