This is a very simple pattern to follow, and is very quick to complete. I live in a very cold climate. The 8mm hook leaves too much space for airflow when it is really cold, but it is perfect for Spring or Autumn. Because the pattern is such an easy one, adjusting it for another hook size wouldn't be difficult to do if you wanted a thicker hood. The link still goes to the original page. There is a new link once there, but it would be better for people with limited bandwidth, etc. if the link was changed here.
