I used to enjoy doing plastic canvas needlepoint, but it's hard to find good patterns for it any more, so I appreciate this one. I made a Christmas village from houses about this size and this will make a good addition to it. If anyone isn't familiar with it, her tutorial is detailed and very easy to follow.

My Mother made something like these but they were little bird houses. Where the door should be make a round hole in the plastic canvas (probably at the top of the door area) and then used wooden skewers to make a perch for little birds you can purchase at a craft store. She had a little bird glued on the perch and one on the top of the house. Sure do miss my Mother's plastic canvas crafts and crocheting! :(
