Materials:
- FloraCraft® Make It: Fun® Foam:
- Cone: 3”
Other Materials:
- 12” X 12” Flat Lace: Black
- (1/3 Yard) 1” Gathered Lace: Black
- 1” Sheer Ribbon: Orange
- Elastic Lace Headband: Black
- Craft Foam Sheet: Orange
- Acrylic Paint: Orange
- Ostrich Feather: Orange
- Small Bow: Black
- Low-Temp Glue Gun
- Scissors
- Paint Brush
Instructions:
- Paint the cone orange and let dry. Tip: Insert a toothpick into the cone to use as a handle while painting.
- Wrap flat lace around the cone. Trim lace to fit cone with the seam at the back and glue in place.
- Cut a 5” circle from the orange craft foam. Cut a 6” lace circle and glue it centered over the orange craft foam to create the hat brim.
- Glue the black gathered lace to the bottom edge of the brim. Glue cone to the center of the brim.
- Embellish hat with orange feather and black bow. Glue hat to lace headband.
- Optional: Add sheer orange ribbon to headband to add color.
