What a clever idea! I bet this would look great with other fabrics besides t-shirt fabric, especially for a different look or effect, but using the same method. I always have scrap fabric that could easily be cut into strips, but I think that hit would require more strips depending on the thickness or thinness of the fabric. So the t-shirt fabric being thicker, would provide a fuller look more quickly! Could add so,e sparkle fabric here and there for some accents too!
