Silicone is quite possibly my favorite material for kitchen tools. It is safe to use with heat and on nonstick cookware, plus it is incredibly durable. It is hard to find an entire tool set made of silicone and this one has all the essential tools. In addition, these tools won't absorb any odors or stains like wooden or plastic tools do. You can also put them right in the dishwasher after using them. 

 

Each tool has a specific purpose in the kitchen. The slotted turner is a standard spatula that works great for flipping burgers, omelets, and just about anything. I like that it has slots for any grease to drain. The spoonula is great for baking. You can scrape batter from the side of a mixing bowl or fold in different ingredients. The mixing spoon is good for stirring all your soups, sauces, and stews, while the slotted spoon is great for spooning out veggies and dishing out pieces of meat. The ladle is probably my favorite piece in the set. It can hold a 1/3 cup of liquid and will help reach the bottom of the pot. 

 

I love that all five tools have a hole in the handle to hang the tools from. This way you can put them where they are most convenient to use while cooking. These tools are truly designed with the cook in mind and will last many years.
