Wooden Ghost Halloween Decoration
If you're a fan of Casper the Friendly Ghost, then you'll love this cute Wooden Ghost Halloween Decoration! Follow this easy tutorial to learn how to make your own boo-tiful Halloween decoration that's perfect to hang in your home or on your front door!
Materials:
- Wood ghost cut out
- Wood bat cut out
- White acrylic paint
- Black acrylic paint
- Optional pink acrylic paint
- 2” wide paint brush
- Paint tray
- 3 glass pebbles
- Black sharpie
- White galaxy marker
- Gray marker
- Pink marker
- 24” bendable wire
- Wire cutter
- Hot glue
- 2 orange bows
- 1 black/white polka dot bow
- White sticker that says “boo-som buddies”
- 150 grit sandpaper
- Glossy glaze spray
Instructions:
1. Sand wood pieces.
2. Wipe with damp cloth.
3. Spray lightly with glaze. Let dry.
4. Paint ghost white and paint bat black. Let dry.
5. Hot glue 3 glass pebbles as noses on ghosts.
6. Adhere sticker to bat. Use bone folder to burnish.
7. Using black marker, draw eyes for ghosts.
8. Using white marker, draw eyes and mouth for bat.
9. Hot glue 2 bows to outside ghosts, and black/white bow to bat.
10. Tie bendable wire to holes at top of ghosts.
11. Spray project with glaze to seal.
