Monster Decorations from Juice Boxes
We know kids adore juice boxes. They can't get enough of those tropical, fruity drinks! Instead of letting your kids toss their juice boxes in the trash when they are done with them, teach them to reuse their juice cartons to make these kooky decorations! Kids are naturally curious and creative, and they will love taking "trash" and figuring out how to turn into something cool. First you'll fill the boxes with rice so they don't tip over, then have your children pick out sheets of felt in their favorite colors. Cover the juice boxes in felt, and add spots, faces, fangs, and more to give these monsters scary faces!
Your children can help decorate the yard for Halloween with these fun and easy kids Halloween crafts. Save milk jugs for a few weeks, or ask friends and neighbors to pass on their empty milk jugs. If your children are old enough to use permanent markers, let them draw faces on their own milk jug "ghosts." Otherwise, you can have them draw faces on paper with pencil or crayon, and you can copy the designs onto the jugs with a Sharpie. Punch holes in all of the jugs and thread a string of lights through to make these eerie ghosts light up the night!
This is a Halloween kids' craft that Mom will have to help with, but we guarantee it will be loads of fun for kids as well! Let kids design the faces for these Jack O Lantern luminaries and then punch holes in the can to outline the features. Kids can paint the pumpkin cans however they like. All you need to do is put a small votive candle inside and watch them glow!
