Perfectly Patchy Temperature Crochet Baby Blanket
From the Designer: Learn how to crochet a temperature blanket for babies! The perfectly patchy temperature crochet baby blanket pattern is a small temperature blanket that you can make for a new arrival.
I have been on a mission to crochet temperature blankets that are baby sized! My first temperature blanket pattern is a larger one measuring 45″ x 45″, and you can see that pattern here: Honeycomb Crochet Temperature Baby Blanket.
My patchy baby blanket is smaller and works up fast. The key: you work this blanket in one column per month, and you join each month as you go. No seaming!
The body of the blanket is worked with half double crochet in the back loop only to create the beautiful ridges. I also love the herringbone half double crochet border and have used it on a few projects. I think the texture is just gorgeous when this stitch is worked in continuous rounds.
I hope you enjoy this pattern!
