Small Spring Bonnets
These Small Spring Bonnets are simple to make, and it is plenty of fun to watch them bake. Take a few Styrofoam cups and set them in a warm oven to get started on this interesting spring craft. As the foam heats up, the cups melt down into fun, little hat-shapes. You can decorate your bonnets in any color you prefer, try adding a few flowers for some festive accent pieces.

I love the idea and your instructions! When I tried to make the bonnets, they turned out like fedoras-the edges curled on one side. I have adjusted the temp & the time but only 1 of 9 resembles a bonnet. Any suggestions??

Hi Kembry, I think with this one it's pretty hit or miss. You have to test different temperatures as well as cookie sheets. In the picture, the designer made 15-20 cups, and ended up with 6-7 that had a perfect brim. I hope this helps! Editor, JLH
