these are wonderful! The suede gives it really nice body. Don't have any spare clothing, nor pieces, so I had to use other old clothes instead. Lining each section (just stick it in after it's put together) really helps give it body and keeps the lumps down. You'll have to hold it in place every so often, or tack the top in place. I'm using reclaimed shredded foam from an old sofa as the stuffing. It would show through and be very bumpy without the cut up mattress pad as a liner. Couldn't find any of the wonderful leaves, so just used the boring kind, and added a pick from Joann's. So far they turned out well. I'll perfect them as as I make more. They don't take very long, even by hand. Maybe 2 hours or less. Great project if you watch tv. Thanks!
