How to Make a Poinsettia Flower

Materials:
- Sizzix poinsettia die
- 12 x 12” sheet of red felt
- 2 satin leaves
- Hot glue or fabri-tac
- Gold 3d scribbles paint
- Optional: Red liquid glitter glue
Instructions:
1. Cut 7 large flower petals,7 small flower petals, 1 center flower in red felt, using the pointsettia sizzix die.
2. Cut about a 2" x 2” circle out of red felt.
3. Glue one large flower petal to top of red felt circle, placing curved edges at top.
4. Continue to slightly overlap the large flower petals and face the curved edges of the petal all going in one direction.
5. Glue small flower petals on top of larger petals, in the same manner, except, face the curved edges in the opposite direction of the larger petals.
6. Glue smallest flower on the very top.
7. Use gold 3d paint to make dots in center of smallest flower to act as stamens.
8. Glue 2 green leaves to underside of poinsettia flower.
9. Optional: Use red glitter glue to outline all edges of pointsettia flower. Let dry.
10. Use to decorate your Christmas gifts, use as a pin, or wear in your hair!
